ONE432
ONE432 was founded by Ammar Belal and his brother Umar in 2018. Both brothers have Master’s degrees in Fashion, and their fashion journey dates back to when they grew up learning the ropes in their family's manufacturing business in Pakistan. Growing up on the manufacturing side they saw firsthand how the artisans responsible for making clothes are often disenfranchised and voiceless participants in an industry that generates over $1 Trillion a year. So they founded ONE432 to be an "Equal Share" design philosophy, that embodies an unprecedented standard of equality, transparency, and responsibility within the fashion industry.
Ammar, ONE432’s designer, was the first individual from South Asia/Middle East region to be offered a place in the prestigious Parsons MFA Fashion Program. He has won numerous design awards and is now a adjunct professor at Parsons and Columbia.
Umar built the ONE432 artisan team in Pakistan before receiving a scholarship to attend NYU's Stern School of Business for his MBA. From there, he won the Harold T. Entrepreneurship Award and ONE432 was selected to be featured in Poet & Quant's Most Disruptive MBA Startups of 2020.
ONE432 shares 50% of the ACTUAL NET PROFITS from each unit sold, with its ARTISANS and sponsoring a child's EDUCATION in Pakistan.
Empathy is at the core of the company The name ONE432 is a throwback to the days of pager codes, "1432" means "I Love You Too".
