      Meet The Brands — Sustainable

      SEPTEMBER

      SEPTEMBER

SEPTEMBER was created by Erika Seiko Togashi, a designer from New York City with a love and passion for surfing. The idea came to life in Bali, while living and surfing its tropical coasts. She noticed a lack of timeless, elegant and sustainable surf & swimwear in the industry.

SEPTEMBER suits are designed for functionality and durability with a focus on fit, color, and sustainable materials . Modern, sustainable surf swimwear for all, swimsuits that withstand the test of time, and the ocean. SEPTEMBER’s vision is to promote body positivity and serve as “Every woman’s first choice for confident and comfortable swimwear.

Sustainability is at the core of SEPTEMBER. Their swimsuits are hand made using their signature luxury fabric sourced from Italy. Their fabrics are recycled and made from 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon and 22% elastane, which comes from pre and post industrial waste such as ghost fishing nets and carpet fluff. The yarns can be infinitely recycled, supporting the vision of a circular fashion industry. They run small batch production at a female owned factory in Bali putting quality over quantity. SEPTEMBER is sustainable and environmentally driven in all business decisions - materials, trims, factory, retailers and even brand location. Designed in New York City. Tested in Bali.

      CLOVO™

      CLOVO™

Founder Megan started CLOVO in 2018 because she hated how tights felt, sagged, ripped easily and were itchy, especially in freezing Upstate New York. Using her background in physics and science, she engineered EverTights™ and RevoTights™

Megan formed a team with a diversity of skillsets, but one with shared love for creating a better future for the Earth. Unlike most fashion companies, CLOVO core team is 100% women with science and engineering backgrounds who work to continuously make the brand more comfortable for women of all body types and more sustainable. CLOVO's tights are revolutionary; made from eco friendly Tencel™ fabric & Oeko-Tex certified dyes, last 5x longer & use 71% less plastic than traditional tights, form fitting comfortable design, soft skin friendly materials.

CLOVO™ partners with the Cool Effect's Breath of Fresh Air project, helping fund the construction of cookstoves in rural homes in Honduras that provide clean air to families. These stoves save wood, save time, eliminate toxic smoke, and help the planet by saving miles of forests and reducing carbon emissions by about 3 tonnes per stove per year. CLOVO™  strives to provide clothing and accessories to empower women and support the environment through the creation of long-lasting designs and the use of natural materials. HarperSage

      HarperSage

HarperSage founded and led by Meghan Herman and Leah Grossart in 2019 offers versatile fashion staples inspired by their two signature personas: girly “Harper” and tomboy “Sage.” Each piece is ethically-made in a women-owned factory and designed with your duality in mind.

The founders grew-up in the 1990’s - a time synonymous with labels for young girls like “girly” and “tomboy.” They met at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and quickly connected over the shared experience of feeling siloed into just one style (and interest, friend group, career - you name it!) Together, they unlocked a big idea that became the foundation of HarperSage: modern women are experiencing a disconnect between the clothes in her closet and the actual moments that influence her style. “Harper” inspired pieces are soft, feminine, and made for city-dwellers. “Sage” inspired pieces are strong, casual, and made for adventurers.

Currently, they proudly produce each and every piece in Delhi, India at a SEDEX certified factory owned and operated by twin sisters, Archana and Arpana, and they have visited and worked alongside them on several occasions! They use soft, high-quality fabrics in their pieces and, where possible, source from markets near their factory to give existing fabrics new life! In 2020 alone, HarperSage used 2,500 yards of deadstock fabric in the production of their styles - a more conscious and sustainable solution to producing new fabrics.
